VEMAG opens health center
Company invests in the health of its employees.
VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH has been developing and producing machines and equipment for the food industry and trade for over 75 years. Since October 04, 2021, the approximately 800 employees at the site in Verden can now look forward to their own health center.
"We want to focus more on the health of our employee*s and are therefore pleased to be able to open our new health center, the "VEMAG Maschinenfabrik", today after a lengthy planning and construction phase," said Ralf Preuß (CFO) at the ceremonial opening of the health center. On an area of around 230 m², the "VEMAG Maschinenfabrik" offers everything your heart desires: from cardio equipment such as a treadmill, cross trainer or rowing machine to the "equipment circuit" and the weight bench for exercising various muscle groups, to sports mats for exercises with your own body weight - there is something for everyone. If desired, the training can be accompanied by a professional coach who can also address individual health goals.
The "VEMAG Maschinenfabrik" shines in a trendy loft look. It is available to employees free of charge and without a contract. "We want to make it as easy as possible for our employees* to keep fit and healthy," says Andreas Bruns (CEO). After an initial briefing, the equipment can be used daily from 06:00 - 20:00. Changing rooms, showers and toilets were also planned during the conversion and integrated into the health center. Throughout the opening day, the "VEMAG Maschinenfabrik" could be visited by all employees* in small groups and thus the final starting signal was given. Now the "VEMAG Maschinenfabrik" can show that it delivers what it promises: even healthier, fitter and more satisfied employees!
