Numerous Trade Fair Innovations

VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH, Verden/Aller, Germany, is presenting various innovations at IFFA to make both manual and industrial production even more flexible.

VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH, Verden/Aller, Germany, will present itself at IFFA 2022 with numerous innovations on the topics of automation, digitalisation and flexible solutions, e.g. for sausage production. From 14 to 19 May in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, the company will be showing special solutions for the industry, among other things, at its 1,600 square metre fair stand in hall 8, booth B04. Visitors to the trade fair can find out more about the high-performance vacuum filling machines of the XP series directly at the booth. For example, the mechanical engineering company will be showing the XP1 and the XP2 in various versions. The XP1 vacuum filler is especially suitable for the production of high-quality cooked ham. The wear-free double screw offers enough space to transport whole muscle pieces gently while maintaining a very high output rate.

The XP2 vacuum filler on display is the world's most powerful vacuum filler. The machine can gently process different products such as salami or other solid masses thanks to the powerful double screw drive. Both vacuum fillers are easy to operate and clean. Optimum product feeding is ensured by the VEMAG Duo-Drive. Quick removal or replacement of the double screws is also possible.

Sausage Production

The LPG218 length portioning unit and the identical LPG238 for a mirrored production process stand for line solutions from a single source. The solution enables safe and efficient production of cooked sausage in artificial and collagen casings. Thanks to variable alignment, the machines can be perfectly integrated into the given production environment. In combination with VEMAG filling machines and the AH219 and AH239 hanging machines, the mechanical engineering company thus covers the entire production process. At the trade fair, the company will also be showing other innovations for efficient, reliable and intelligent production.

Innovations

VEMAG will also be presenting a wide range of solutions for the production of food from plant-based alternatives for the IFFA top themes of "Food Trends" and "Proteins of the Future". For many years, the mechanical engineering company has had extensive know-how in producing a variety of different plant-based minced, formed or sausage products in the desired quality and product appearance. Solutions for the production of vegetable balls - with or without filling - can also be seen at the trade fair. In addition to the classic applications such as vegetable burger patties or sausages, VEMAG also offers room for creative ideas, new shapes and individual solutions with the "Alternative Proteins" area. The applications range from semi-automatic filling to highly automated processes. Overall, the company presents a wide range of products for the manufacture of various products from alternative protein sources.

Range of Services

The mechanical engineering company will present its entire range of products and services at the trade fair: Over 100 machines and attachments as well as 37 lines, including live demonstrations, will be on display at the booth. Visitors to the fair can find out about the 40 VEMAG filling machines - from the SausageLinker to the XP series - on site. In addition to filling machines, the company will also be exhibiting ten lines for industrial sausage production. The processing of natural, collagen and artificial casings is shown. Moreover, there are solutions for the production of sausages in alginate casing and ideas for the production of co-extruded products are also on show. In addition to new special solutions for the convenience sector, the company will be showing its large selection of standard machines.

The company's range of services also includes flexible and automated solutions for the fresh meat sector - from burgers to minced meat - right through to portioning and packaging. VEMAG offers solutions from a single source.

Further Innovations

In a separate area, VEMAG presents innovations for small and medium sized businesses. These are characterised by a high level of suitability for everyday use and simple handling. The newly developed attachments can be quickly and easily mounted on existing VEMAG filling machines. New modules such as the Multiple Product Former MPF818 complement the attachment portfolio. This enables the user to produce craft premium burger patties in different thicknesses and diameters extremely efficiently. Individual special shapes can also be realised. In addition to minced meat, other pasty masses such as veggie masses can also be processed with the former. At IFFA, the mechanical engineering company from northern Germany will present the new grinder985 for the HP1. This will be an absolute trade fair highlight for the craft sector!

Another novelty is the skewer former931. With this additional attachment, minced meat and other pasty masses can be portioned directly onto a wooden, plastic or metal skewer with gram precision. In addition to round nozzles, many other shapes such as star, rectangular or spiral nozzles are available.

Individual Solutions

Visitors to the fair can also find out about VEMAG solutions in the field of customised design. The company from northern Germany has extensive experience in special machine construction with its own special design department. The experts develop and manufacture machines and systems according to individual customer wishes. In doing so, the machine builder responds specifically to customer requirements - whether it is the processing of plant-based raw materials, sausages, or fresh meat products. The company offers solutions from a single source.

Automation

The company from northern Germany will present further trade fair innovations in the areas of automation and digitalisation. VEMAG will be showing efficient and flexible solutions that increase product safety on the one hand and reduce personnel costs on the other. At the trade fair, the specialists will present machines with high performance that continuously portion, process and deposit various products into the packaging with gramme accuracy. The developers paid special attention to the aspects of "hygienic design", "return on investment" as well as "data acquisition and processing" during the construction.
