Fire, Meat & VEMAG

At the beginning of July, the 1st Oldenburg Grill Cup of the MEAT YOU Grill School took place. For two days, the grilling event was all about fire, meat and the preparation of delicious food. Four colleagues, with the concentrated competence of butchers and cooks, took up the challenge. Exciting competitions were held to prepare pork neck, spare ribs, fresh coarse bratwurst and dry-aged entrecote from heifer. Six portions per challenge had to be prepared for the expert jury. Our professionals prepared the grilled specialties so appetizingly for the judges that our team came in a very good 2nd place. We are very proud and the prize money will go to our trainees!

All in all a very successful and top organized event with live music, fun and entertainment for young and old. We are already looking forward to the hopefully next round of the Grill and BBQ event in Oldenburg.
