Successful trade show debut in Italy.
VEMAG Maschinenbau GmbH, Verden/Aller, is pleased about the great interest during Zoomark International. The company presented its petfood applications from portioning to loading in a wide range of packaging variants for the first time at the trade show in Bologna and is highly satisfied.
"At Zoomark, we noticed once again that the pet industry is in a period of strong growth. This was reflected in the high number of visitors to the fair and the numerous discussions and project inquiries," says VEMAG Managing Director Christoph Thelen, summing up the fair. The mechanical engineering company from Lower Saxony participated for the first time from May 15 to 17, 2023 at the show in Bologna. The numerous visitors learned about the vacuum fillers with double screw technology and the matching modular attachments. For example, the company presented a filling flow divider. This module ensures weight accurate filling after dividing the product flow from the vacuum filler. Completely identical filling flows are produced under all production conditions, guaranteeing extremely consistent quality in petfood production.
"Our concept of developing particularly flexible and efficient machines for petfood manufacturers from all over the world is well received on the market," explains Christoph Thelen. For example, the modular VEMAG machines can be used to process a wide range of fresh or frozen raw materials such as meat, fish or other vegetable raw materials. "We also offer solutions when it comes to products such as sausages and snacks, sticks, strips stripes or coextruded food," adds Thelen. In addition, the production of petfood in a wide variety of shapes and sizes is possible. Overall, the company is pleased with the successful trade show debut in Italy. The next Zoomark will be held in Bologna from May 5 to 7, 2025.
