VEMAG recently hosted a buyers' event on the topic of "Digital transformation in purchasing". The participants included representatives from the German Association for Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics (BME) as well as various other buyers from different companies and industries.

As part of the event, around 60 participants had the opportunity to visit VEMAG's active production facility. Afterwards, Florian Greulich (Head of Purchasing at VEMAG) and Steen Bösche (Project Manager - Digital Transformation at VEMAG) gave presentations on the company's history, milestones and the future of purchasing with regard to digitalization. Afterwards, all participants had the opportunity to discuss current topics and challenges in procurement, particularly in relation to digitalization. The event was very successful overall.
