From June 25 to 26, we welcomed Zeelandia GmbH & Co. KG from Frankfurt to the Bakery Innovation Center (BIC). Zeelandia is one of the leading manufacturers of baking ingredients. They support their customers in over 100 countries with application solutions and marketing for bread, rolls and fine baked goods.
On Wednesday, we welcomed a delegation of Zeelandia colleagues from various departments, including consulting, application technology, sales, product development, and marketing. These colleagues are among the more than 3,100 people who work at Zeelandia worldwide.
To familiarize them with our machines and solutions, especially the dough portioners and modular attachment system, we held a practical workshop in the bakery. There, we produced various breads, shortbread, pound cakes, muffins and cookies. We used the baking agents supplied by Zeelandia, as well as the HPE, Robot 500, WFK863 roller filling head, ASV811 cutting device, HP1, the FT722 filling table, as well as the BC237. The test productions yielded excellent results, and the products were impressive in terms of appearance, consistency, and taste.
In addition to the excellent performance of our machines and attachments, hygiene was a particularly important issue. During the joint cleaning session, we demonstrated how important hygienic design is to us.
On Thursday, we finally said goodbye to the Zeelandia team, but not before enjoying a factory tour and the highly anticipated product and company presentations. We concluded that it was a perfect match, both humanly and technically, and we are looking forward to continuing our collaboration.
A big thank you to our guests from Zeelandia for the exciting days and test runs - and once again to the whole BIC team for their great work and implementation of this workshop!
