The Link Grouper is equipped with two lateral infeed belts and a pneumatic ejection unit. The upstream machine provides information about the sausages to be ejected. At the transfer point to the LG336, the sausages are ejected pneumatically into a collecting box. The accepted sausages are then conveyed to the grouping module.

The grouping module is available in two different widths: 600 mm and 1200 mm. The servo-controlled infeed belt transfers the sausages to the grouping belt, which places the portions onto the outfeed belt in a transverse direction to the infeed direction. Synchronization is achieved via the integrated sensor.

The groups formed in the grouping module are loaded onto the freezer or oven belt by pneumatically driven drop flaps. The number of sausages to be placed in a row can be specified and depends on the length of the grouping belt, the spacing between carrier elements, and the width of the freezer or oven belt. Uniform and high loading density of the freezer and oven belts is guaranteed.
