To improve detection of the linking points on products with tightly positioned sausage ends, such as smoked sausages in hog casings, the sausage strand is stretched before the cutting process. The speed of the second pair of belts can be regulated independently to achieve targeted stretching in the linking point area. This feature contributes significantly to optimizing the cutting result, especially in stand-alone operation. The distances between the belts are infinitely adjustable to suit the caliber.

The knives installed in the cutting machines are engineered to make precise cuts, including those for cutting out linking points and for longitudinal cuts. They perform at high speeds of up to 1,800 cuts/minute. The knives are driven by precision AC servo motors.

The knives have a long service life. The knife is changed using the standard Vemag tool, which is included in the scope of delivery.

The user-friendly, intuitive controls make the cutting machine easy to operate in daily use. All settings can be conveniently adjusted via the touch display.
