LPG218 / LPG238

Sausage production with maximum efficiency

The LPG218 length portioning device and the LPG238 mirrored version are designed for the fully automatic processing of cooked sausages in artificial and collagen casings. They offer maximum length and weight accuracy, an above-average production speed of up to 2,200 portions per minute, and exceptional hygiene properties.

In designing the length portioning machines, our objective was to 

  • reduce the number of components
  • minimize set-up times
  • facilitate the quick changing of parts
  • ensure easy cleaning

The magazine box, which is used to store the casings, has the capacity to hold up to three caddies, which is more than twice the quantity of systems that are currently available on the market. The integrated fill level monitor provides the operator with information regarding the minimum load, thus preventing the line from running empty. This results in a noticeable increase in efficiency.

The casing is applied fully automatically, reducing personnel costs. The gripper principle of the LPG218/238 stabilizes the casing stick during loading, preventing it from snapping. When used in conjunction with an upstream vacuum filling machine and a downstream hanging device, such as the AH219 or AH239, the length portioning devices form a complete line, offering an optimal solution for industrial sausage production.
